DON'T LET THE NEW YEAR HIT YOU IN THE BUTT ON YOUR WAY OUT

Speaking of 2011
see...yaaaaa
was a hard year for me, glad to be moving on

I am putting "positive vibes" into the universe
for 2012
Oprah said, whatever you throw into the universe
you get back
(and we ALL know Oprah knows everything)

so 2012, Here I Come
gonna get'er done
make improvements
find Wendy again
learn
seek
grow
I had a fabulous time visiting my family in Utah

We laughed !!!!

and laughed some more

and tried to grab a nap
and danced

 and picked our nose

and posed

and postured

and goofed

and sang

and gathered

(here's a line up for ya...from left to right, My FIRST husbands wife, DIL Caryn, DIL Rena ,ME,  SECOND husbands mother, DIL Becky
front row DIL Leslie, DAUGHTER Emma)
yes we are a unique family

(DIL and her hubby.. my Son.. Daughter)

and last minute shopped

and remembered

AND IT WAS ALL WONDERFUL

My very best present from my children
was THIS

a very large photo of all ten of these angels
my grandkids
(ranging in age from 15 to 3)

The only thing better then the photo would be bringing them home with me
OH NO....WAIT
that's the joy of being a grandma
you spoil them, then leave them at home (tee, hee)

Mr. Gorgeous and I spent  New Years Eve at our friends house

(some of  you readers may remember it was just last New Years Eve, while we four were out celebrating that our friend Ricks only brother and SIL were Killed in a car collision)

We wanted to keep things a little more low key this year
but we did sport the party hats
an toasted in the New Year

I do know that 2012 will come with its share
of joy and heartache
every year does.

but for whatever comes
I want to be STRONGER
and better

and be more charitable

Keep on loving each other as brothers
Do not forget to entertain strangers
for by so doing
some people have entertained ANGELS
without knowing it.
Hebrews 13:12

and that is my Toast to all of you

Loving all the pictures in your post. You have such cute and smiley grandchildren.
I also am loving the picture of all you women together. Sometimes families happen in the strangest ways but love and family bonds brings everyone together and that is a wonderful thing.

I do remember your friends and the tradgedy of last New Years Eve. It's good you could spend yesterday together and have a quiet and uneventful New Years - May the rest of the year be just as happy and peaceful.

Now GO - Go find Wendy - I like that girl!!! (wink)

Your celebrations look like they were meaningful. I do remember last year for your friends. What a heartbreak. I love that you were together this year. That had to mean a lot.

Dearest friend,

YOU are a delight to visit and see. Your children, your grandchildren, you world; it is all marvelous. And I love your attitude. We can start every day anew having learned from the past, dreaming forward toward the unknown, and living in the present, fully. You have SO MUCH from which to draw. Love is abundant here.

Thank you for your visit and sweet and FUNNY words! Etsy? Teeheee...I had NO IDEA what it was either until I started to notice how some bloggers sell on it. It is SO EASY to set up and you can make a chunk 'a change!!!! More so, it is fun, you meet even MORE people, and it is a great way to find your talents and abilities. ALMOST anything goes as far as selling handcrafted items. Thank you for stopping by.

Well dear heart, HERE IS TO A NEW YEAR with the past near and dear to us, but with the NOW right before us. ENJOY IT ALL my dear, Anita

Oh Wendy, seeing you crying at Matt's grave makes me realize that we will never stop crying, but the memories seem to keep them at bay these days. I'm so glad that xmas is OVER. It seems my last few days have been better. I hope you feel it too.
I'm sending you love and lots of it and add some laughter, hugs, kisses and lots of salads. You'll be fine BGF, you'll be fine.
I love you

I am so glad that you posted something on fb about your blog. For some reason; you weren't in my reader anymore. That can't happen! You are one of my favorite people.

I loved the nose picker picture and the one with your 1st husbands wife..funny. I have the same kind of deal. It's better for the kids.

I love you and miss you. Next time you are in Utah I will come and get you and we are going to lunch or dinner.

Happy New Year.

xoxo

btw - I teared up at the pic of you at Matt's grave.
